The Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) is set to release the 2020 Primary Leaving Examinations this Friday following yesterday’s meeting between the board and Minister for Education and Sports First Lady Janet Museveni at State House Nakasero.
According to our sources parents and pupils will receive the released details in a virtual format of transmission. The release of results event will be broadcast on television stations, radios, and on online platforms for everyone to follow; with strict clearance of few individuals in attendance.
Amongst the 1,181,965 candidates that sat for their final examinations at different levels of P7, S4, and S6, 749,518 registered for PLE.
The results were supposed to be released in June but due to the lockdown that was imposed at the peak of the second wave of COVID-19, UNEB postponed the release claiming their offices are closed yet some tasks require staff to be physically present.
