Celebrated comedian, actor and presenter Daniel Omara is set to break his long-time silence at the Singleton Challenge this weekend.
And no, Omara is not part of the golfers’ line-up that will be tussling it out on the greens. The comedian will be the host of the Oldies themed 19th hole experience of the Round One of the Singleton Challenge slated for tomorrow Saturday May 29th at the Entebbe Golf Club.
Famous for his role in the Ugandan television series ‘The Hostel, and his witty but extremely funny jokes, Omara is expected to crack golfers as they chill and unwind from the long tension-filled hours on the greens.
Omara will be standing-in for fellow comedian Patrick Idringi aka Salvador, who has been the official host of the event for the last four seasons.
The choice of Omara for a 90s themed party is such a perfect fit, given the comedian’s track record of smart, rich, and mature sense of humor.
Given the circumstances, and restrictions instituted by the Ministry of Health on public gatherings, the 19th hole experience is strictly limited to golfers, and will only last within the stipulated curfew time.
