Today has indeed been a double blessing for National Unity Platform (NUP) spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi as shortly after being sworn in a Member in the 11th Parliament for Nakawa West, Ssenyonyi has today graduated from Makerere University Law School.
After four years of studies, Ssenyonyi graduates with a bachelor’s degree in Law.
The former NTV News anchor has announced his new milestone through his social media platforms as he shared photos of his swearing in and graduation.
“Today I’ve become a lawyer after graduating from Makerere Law School. The four years were tough, having to juggle law school with many other aspects of my life but God has been faithful. Later in the day I was sworn in as MP Nakawa West. God help me use these platforms to fight injustice,” Ssenyonyi said.
Ssenyonyi first pursued a Bachelors Degree of Science in Business Statistics before joining UBC and later to NTV Uganda as a news anchor and show host.
In 2019, he quit his job at NTV and joined People Power/ NUP as the spokesperson.
