The Greedy Barbarian author- Kakwenza allegedly arrested after claiming to be under house arrest hours after posting that Museveni is computer generated

Award-winning Novelist, Kakwenza Rukirabashaija claims his under house arrest. The 2021 PEN Pinter prize International  Writer of Courage by Tsitsi Dangarembga broke the news on his social media platforms.

“I’m under house arrest. Men with guns are breaking my door. They say they are policemen but are not in Uniform. I have locked myself inside,” Kakwenza posted on facebook and Twitter.

The celebrated novelist of the Greedy Barbarian which earned him this year’s International Writer of Courage by Tsitsi Dangarembga and the Banana Republic has been making provocative posts about the President, first son, and the government.

“Good Morning  Muhoozi bum-lickers. Dare attempt to bully me again and I show you fire. I have more verbal artillery in my toolkit to bludgeon   your empty heads and  dirty mouths that spews hocus-pocus and balderdash. You’re all bankrolled chamcos! Nonsense just,” he tweeted

He also responded to one Emmanuel Byamugisha who commented that Ugandans have continued to elect him.

“Correction; he elects himself using electoral commission computers. He’s computer-generated. Stop being an idiot,” stated Kakwenza

 According to the Guardian this year’s PEN Pinter winner, the Zimbabwean writer, and activist Dangarembga, chose Kakwenza as the International Writer of Courage, an award for an author who has been persecuted for speaking out about their beliefs, with whom she will share her prize.
