“When you (NRA) went to the bush, you gave yourselves Muslim names,” Prince Nakibinge speaks against linking terror acts to Muslims

The titular head of the Muslim faction based in Kibuli Prince Kassim Nakibinge has condemned security forces for “going after Muslims” whenever incidents of terrorism happen.

Prince Nakibinge says terrorism has no tribe or religion and so security agencies must act professionally while dealing with terrorism. He says extrajudicial killings have no place in the country.

Prince Nakibinge reminds the current regime that when they were in the bush, they named themselves Islamic names.

“When you went to the bush, you named yourselves Shaban Bantariza, Gen Salim Saleh…If Obote had arrested you, what crime would we have committed?” says Prince Nakibinge.

Two weeks ago, twin bombs went off in Kampala killing seven people and injuring over 30. Several counter-terrorism operations by joint security forces have been conducted arresting over 100 suspects.
