Rehab facility holds onto Rocky Giant as he still fails to clear Shs26m bill

Hip-hop veteran Fred Geria better known as Rocky Giant will certainly have nothing to remember 2021 for as it has been filled with series and episodes of hardship.

Matooke Republic learnt earlier this year that the rap artiste had been stuck in rehab for over seven months over uncleared bills amounting to Shs23million.

This was after the artiste cried out to philanthropists to rescue him after he had failed to find means through which to clear his bills.

The latest word reaching the Matooke Republic news desk is that Rocky Giant seems to have fallen on harder times as he has now made over nine months in rehab with his bill estimated to be over Shs26 million.

According to inside sources, Giant seems to have been abandoned by his family at rehab on the outskirts of Kampala and the facility stands its ground to hang onto him until his debt is cleared.

Rocky Giant who is confirmed to have fully recovered has lost hope of ever leaving the facility due to the uncleared bills. Giant has been out of business for a while now and the fact that he has spent the last two years in and out of rehab does not help issues either.

According to reports by a local news website, Rocky Giant last received a visitor at the rehab about three months ago and surprisingly, it was rehabilitated drug addict, Qute Kaye.

Administration at the rehab facility intimates that they still have to hold onto the musician to recover their medical and feeding bills which reportedly shoot up by Shs1.8 million each and every month.

The current situation leaves Rocky Giant at the mercy of Samaritans, a miracle, and well-wishers and we wish him a safe sail out of his currently troubled waters.
