Again, Armed cattle rustlers have made another sucessful raid on the farm of the General Court Martial chairman, Lt Gen Andrew Gutti in Napak district and made off with 40 heads of cattle.

According to residents, it has become business as usual for rustlers to raid different farms in Lorengechora sub-county and take cattle.

For Gen Gutti’s incident, his relative, Jacob Yeno said that the gang of rustlers armed with guns made the attack on the farm at around 8pm and by the time they alerted the army, the thugs had already loaded the cattle on the truck and moved away.

He, however, said that they have got intelligence that the cattle was moved to Nabilatuk district.

Capt Edrin Mawanda, the UPDF 3rd Division spokesperson confirmed the incident and revealed that they are following up the matter as they already have clues.

In January this year, thugs attacked Gen Gutti’s ancestral home and made off with a tractor.
