Government cancels licences of three labour exporting companies, suspends several others

Government has cancelled the operating licences of three labour export companies and suspended several others over human trafficking and human rights violations.

“Some of these companies were involved in document forgery and their licences have not been extended. Others were due to complaints received by the Ministry of Gender,” says Agnes Igoye the Deputy National Coordinator  for Prevention of Trafficking in Persons at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
