President Yoweri Museveni has this evening delivered his address about the new wave of COVID-19 where he decried public noncompliance to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as the main cause of the new wave of the pandemic.

Museveni said that it’s a public’s collective responsibility to comply with SOPs and stop the spread of the deadly virus.

To curb down the new wave, Museveni has announced new restrictions with majority taking immediate effect starting tomorrow.
