Singer Naava Grey is in mourning today following the death of her mother. The ‘Ninga Omuloge’ singer broke the sad news on her Instagram.
“Na lillahi wa ina lilayhi rajiun. Rip my sweet mama friend sister my all words can’t express. You fought a good fight. May Allah forgive you all sins and grant you jannatul firdaus. Help me say ameen,” She posted.
Naava did not reveal the cause of her mother’s death but revealed that she was her best friend in this life.
Social media users especially those who follow her and Ugandan celebrities have sent condolence messages to comfort her.
Losing a mother, worse still in these trying days when covid19 has ravaged the whole world and music industry is such a bitter pill for Naava and for anyone else to swallow.
