MP elect Ssegirinya back on his feet just on time ahead swearing in of 11th parliament

Kawempe North Member of Parliament-elect Mohammed Ssegirinya is back on his feet just on time as the MPs-elect of the 11th Parliament will swear in between May 17 and 20, according to the programme released by the office of the Clerk to Parliament.

Ssegirinya was rushed to Kenya’s capital city, Nairobi, for further treatment almost a month ago and has reportedly been receiving specialised treatment at Nairobi Hospital. His page reported that the doctors at Nairobi Hospital diagnosed that he had been poisoned.

The MP elect had initially been admitted at the Doctors hospital in Sseguku with ear and abdominal complications following his release from Kitalya prison where he spent almost a month.

Since then Ssegirinya has been unable to move by himself as his caretakers have been moving him in a wheel chair.

However, going by what the Ssegirinya Muhammed Mr Updates Page has shared, the comic MP elect has greatly improved. He can now move though with crunches.

MPs-elect will swear in next week at Kololo Independence grounds and each of them will be required to be accompanied by only three people; with only one additional person as an aide for MPs with disabilities. The ceremony will strictly observe the COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
