“Gov’t wants to grab everything I own,” Bobi Wine speaks out on Magere land saga

Yesterday Daily Monitor run a story about how Justine Nakamatte a resident of Magere, Wakiso has petitioned court seeking an order to evict thousands of residents in Magere including Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine.

Nakamatte wants court to cancel all the land titles on the said land that she claims to have inherited from her grandfather.  She also claims that the occupants fraudulently took possession of the land and registered it on Plot 38, Block 191, in Kyadondo.

Kyagulanyi through his social media has responded to the developments claiming that government is witch hunting him ever since he declared his intentions to stand against President Yoweri Museveni.

He insists that he legally acquired all the property that he owns.

“Ever since I declared intentions to challenge Gen. Museveni last year, they’ve filed all manner of bogus cases against me in relation to everything I own. Busabala, Kamwokya and now Magere! Taking on a dictator is nothing easy, but I know it will end in victory for the PEOPLE,” says Bobi Wine.
