“I am not sure whether I will ever have sex again. But I won’t give up,” MP Zaake

Mityana Municipality legislator, Francis Butebi Zaake has always dominated news headlines not because he’s very active on the floor of parliament but rather known for falling ‘prey’ to security forces.

Zaake has been left for dead on three notable occasions, first was in Arua where he was severely beaten by SFC and dumped at Rubaga Hospital, then last year, he was arrested for violating COVID-19 guidelines but to public’s shock, he was presented before court all bruised and could barely open his eyes.

This year he was arrested after the January polls and was allegedly subjected to the ‘usual’ torture ‘sessions.’ Doctors diagnosed series of damages on his body organs and were advised to seek more medical treatment abroad. Zaake returned this month from America.

While appearing on a local TV today morning, Zaake revealed that the effects of torture playing a very bad role in his marital life as he’s fighting to resurrect his sexual intimacy.

“I have been tortured to an extent that I am not sure whether I will be able to perform my marital duties but am not willing to give up,” said Zaake. Zaake and wife Bridget Namirembe welcomed a new member in the family in 2020. The youthful couple has two children together.

He vowed that despite his dilemma, he’s not ready to quit the cause of fighting for freedom.

“I am lucky that I have all I need in life which is not the case with several Ugandans. Therefore, I won’t give up till we attain freedom in our country,” he said.

According to Zaake, his NUP party has succeeded in the first stage of exposing all government institutions like; judiciary, army, police and URA among others.

“Everyone knows the truth about how government institutions only work in favour of Museveni,” he said.

He further said that government has failed to get hints about their plans and so President Museveni’s governance will soon be coming to an end.
