Who are the performers lined up for tonight’s first ever UG Global concert

Canadian company Gisha Production Inc. is set to hold their first ever UG Global online concert tonight (Good Friday).
The virtual event will be hosted by celebrated comedian Alex Muhangi and will stream live on Gisha Production Inc Facebook and YouTube pages starting 8pm today April 2nd (Good Friday).
The UG Global online concerts is an idea by Gisha Inc, that gives a platform to Ugandan artistes in the diaspora to perform and reach Ugandans from different parts of the world.

Tonight’s show brings together a blended line-up of four performers from countries including UK, Canada and Uganda.
Gisha Inc CEO cum Afro-Folk soul musician Gloria Gift Nankunda leads the lineup for tonight’s event.

Gloria is a woman of many trades. She’s a perfect description of an ‘all rounder,’ when it comes to the entertainment industry.
She’s into TV, Film, music and events.

But most importantly, she has dedicated her life to the artistry of singing, to become a very accomplished and successful Afro-Folk-Soul musician.
Sarah Ndagire, a renowned folk artistes is the other lady on tonight’s lineup.

Now based in the UK, Ndagire is a singer, songwriter who continues to share the culture of her homeland, ‘the pearl of Africa.’ through music.
Many people that have been to her performances in the recent past, have concluded that ‘watching and listening to the energetic is like taking the most relaxing trip across Africa without a visa.’
Ndagire has built an impressive repertoire made up of the most rare, unique and varied Ugandan rhythms and instruments that hitherto were played in isolation by different tribal musicians.
Vocalist Brayo Bryans is one of the three male performers on the show.
Born Nkoyooyo Kezaala Brian, Brayo was a common face and voice on many band nights in town.
Brayo who relocated or Toronto- Canada in 2019, will be giving his fans a piece of him on the show tonight.

Dre Cali is the only the only Ugandan-based singer on the lineup.
The Mpaka Records singer is the voice behind Ebisooka nebusembayo, one of the most trending songs in Uganda at the moment.
He has also graced most online shows during the lockdown.

Last on the list is DJ Stagez. He is a former presenter at Top radio and Lighthouse TV.
He has lived and worked in England and Wales, before moving to Canada.
Dj Stagez is also a singer who has been named ‘Artist of the Month in Calgary, Alberta where he lives now.
