Bobi Wine to leave the country, set to meet African leaders and fellow strugglists

Former presidential candidate Bobi Wine real name Robert Kyagulanyi is set to leave country for four official working days.

Without giving details of the exact countries the National Unity Platform (NUP) leader will be traversing, Joel Ssenyonyi, the party spokesperson says that he will meet several leaders and fellow strugglists on the African continent in furtherance of their struggle for freedom and democracy.

Since the Electoral Commission (EC) launched the electoral roadmap, Bobi Wine has never left the country as he was busy traversing the country for votes. After the January 14 polls, Bobi Wine was put under house arrest for two weeks before court ordered security forces to immediately vacate his premises in Magere.

The ruling government has always accused Bobi Wine of having foreign backers that fund his political activities. And President Yoweri Museveni has always vowed to crash them claiming they have bad intentions for Uganda.
