The night climaxed with an exciting 19th Hole prize giving dinner where outgoing Lady captain Anne Abeja officially introduced incoming Lady Captain Grace Kabonero.

“This year’s theme; Choose To Challenge, generated a lot of excitement. We would like for more and more women to come out and celebrate each other, get involved as well as support each other,” said Abeja, the outgoing Lady Captain said of the tournament that is held every March to celebrate women.

The annual Lady Captain’s Prize tournament was not held last year owing to the lockdown that was instituted to curb the spread of Covid-19. This year’s tournament, marking the 30th edition was held in adherence to Standard Operating Procedures set by government to stop the spread of the pandemic.
