Bobi Wine wants URA to re-assess his bulletproof car from his Magere home

The Kyagulanyi bulletproof car woes with Uganda Revenue Authority are not about to end, this was after court pushed the hearing of the case to April 6. While addressing the legal team Kyagulanyi and URA  Justice Emmanuel Baguma  ordered both parties to file written submissions  which he said will guide his judgment on the case.

Kyagulanyi’s lawyers also informed court that their client has no issue with the tax body re-assessing his car as long as the process is done in his presence and from his home in Magere.

The armored car has been making rounds in the media from the time the former presidential candidate unveiled his ride to the public on his social media platforms.

A few days after Kyagulanyi unveiled the car, URA came out and revealed that the Toyota Land Cruiser UBJ 667F was declared to customs as an ordinary car and was charged Shs88million. Meaning that  as an armored car the car was undervalued at Shs157,925,502.
