ANDREW MWENDA: The evidence that our journalists are doing the right thing is when the security is beating them

During the arrest of National Unity Platform Presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine in Luuka district , some journalists were beaten up in the scuffle.

Veteran Journalist Andrew Mwenda condemned the act and asked the journalists to stay focused on their work.

He also praised the journalists for doing a great work and thanked them for sacrificing themselves in these hard times.

 “The evidence that our journalists are doing the right thing is when security beats them,” Andrew Mwenda said.

He encouraged his fellow journalists to stay strong and stop minding about the security beatings.
