The people of Soroti have braved tear gas and turned up in big numbers to listen to National Unity Platform presidential flag bearer.

Bobi Wine who is preaching the new Uganda gospel across the country thanked the people for enduring the tear gas and also requested them to desist from stoning the police officers before gifting them with a mini concert.

“This is the end of Museveni’s dictatorship. I told him we shall get our freedom or die trying,” said Bobi Wine

Bobi Wine also reminded people of what happened to Omar Bashir in Sudan and told them that Museveni fears them but they can only fire teargas.

He also asked the people of Teso why the ministers from their region haven’t aired out their complained and later responded that the Ministers never air out their grievances because they are ‘eating’.

“ I am not going to power but we are going to power,” Bobi Wine said.

Bobi Wine dedicated a song for the police officials who were firing teargas to the people.

The people of Soroti named Bobi Wine Elakuna, a name that means freedom.
