Kasambya County National Resistance Movement (NRM) candidate for the 2021 polls, David Kabanda has said that he feels sorry for opposition politicians who are into elections hoping to be announced winners for the respective positions they’re vying for.

“If the opposition are going to the polls so that Byabakama will announce them winner, I’m sorry for them,” said Kabanda while appearing on NBS TV Barometer show.

Kabanda claims that they’re only going into elections to fulfil constitution mandate.

“We are going to the polls yet we already know the outcomes. We are just fulfilling what the Constitution dictates that there shall be elections every after five years,” says Kabanda.

On security agencies participation in the elections, Kabanda says the actions of police and other sister agencies are promoting opposition candidates.

“When police decides to promote a candidate, they do. They have been disrupting Patrick Amuriat. Amuriat has made headlines today because he was the only one disrupted by police. This might even make him win Bobi Wine,” he says.
