Andrew Mwenda’s move to Bobi Wine’s National Unity Platform (NUP) is currently trending number one in Uganda as different individuals are weighing the move.
President of Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA), a renowned Bobi Wine fanatic Patriq Kanyomozi has comically reacted to Mwenda’s subscription to People Power and NUP.
“His motives aside, had NUP/People Power been as intolerant and radical as M(7+2)’s various paid-for opinions insinuated, he wouldn’t have been allowed anywhere near party colours. Only challenge, PP lost Full Figure but has now been replaced by another hooligan, this one more educated,” Kanyomozi tweeted.
Abdul Wasike, a journalist at Nation Media also tweeted saying; “”Andrew Mwenda will test positive for Covid-19 and the National Unity Platform (NUP) party offices will be closed until 2022…”
Mwenda wants to stand against Bobi Wine for the party’s presidential flag bearer in the forthcoming elections.
