Uganda Cranes and former KCCA forward Derrick Nsibambi has tested positive for COVID-19 in Egypt. Nsibambi is one of the two COVID-19 cases reported at Egyptian Premier League side Smouha SC according to Egyptian media.
The other player is Mohammed Koffi, a Burkinabé footballer Central defender who is believed to have been in contact with Zamalek players after Sunday’s friendly game.
The Egyptian Premier league was set to resume on August 6, 2020 after a five-month halt due to the COVID-19 outbreak. And all teams were required to do three tests before the restart.
