With his People Power Movement back on the drawing board rescheduling their consultation meetings that were first blocked by Police earlier this year, Bobi Wine claims to have found a ‘temporary’ solution to bypass Police in their bid to spread the message of change.
Speaking at his brother’s wedding fundraising meeting, Bobi Wine said that this is the right time for People Power members to organize parties because the coming periods are going to be tough because of the upcoming 2021 elections.
“We should hold of these parties more often before August 2020 when 2021 general elections campaigns commence,” Bobi Wine said.
The vibrant Presidential aspirant said the fun parties can also be used as a platform to spread their political message since Police has continuously blocked their legitimate rallies.
“Organize more fun parties like birthdays, baby showers, introductions, weddings and we spread the message of change,” he said.
Bobi Wine’s elder brother, Fred Nyanzi and Majorine Namukisa Katumba are set to walk down the aisle on March 21, 2020 at Lubaga Cathedral. Over the weekend, they managed to raise over Shs100 million for their wedding.
