Lubaga South Member of Parliament Kato Lubwama has said he is not ready to be looked at as a fool after 2021 general elections when President Yoweri Museveni retains power. Lubwama says that though there is an increased number of Ugandans yearning for change, they cannot oust Museveni through a vote.
“Museveni is still playing his cards well when it comes to retaining power. Our opposition is full of masqueraders,” Lubwama says.
In this Lubwama states, “Let us be serious and not deceive Ugandans, Museveni is going nowhere in 2021.”
He believes that the opposition has to wait a little longer to capture power. On the chances of Bobi Wine becoming President, Kato almost sounded like MP Odongo Otto who described the Kyadondo legislator as an amateur.
Lubwama admits that Bobi Wine is the new face of the opposition but goes on to assert that he has a lot to learn before he can suitably challenge for the country’s top office.
