The National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Kyagulanyi Robert Sentamu aka Bobi Wine has today resumed his presidential campaigns. The NUP leader will be campaigning in the eastern districts of Budaka, Kibuku and Manafwa.

Given the violent incidents that have happened on his campaign trails in the past days, Bobi Wine has decided to drop suits and don a bullet proof vest as he claims his life is in danger.

While addressing his team before he set off from his home in Magere, Bobi Wine revealed what has inspired his red jumpsuit covered in a bullet proof vest and a head gear.

“The reason I am dressed like this is not for anything but because I know they are targeting me and they want to harm me,” Bobi Wine said.

He cautioned their mission saying; “They think that if they kill me it will be good for them but they don’t realize that it will make matters worse.”

Bobi Wine yesterday met with the Electoral Commission boss Justice Simon Byabakama and presented his evidence on the continued police brutality on his campaign trails.

He was in the company of his trusted team , he filled dozens of photos taken from the field among which Bobi Wine bullets fired at his vehicle with the aim of killing him
