Bobi Wine responds to Museveni: It is not me who is untouchable; it is freedom and justice that are untouchable

The National Unity Platform presidential candidate Kyagulanyi Robert Sentamu alias Bobi Wine has responded to President Yoweri Museveni’s claims that he (Bobi Wine) is untouchable since he feels that hisls presidential candidature is followed by a good number of youths.

According to Bobi Wine, the regime is trying to label him with all sorts of demeaning appeal to destruct the masses that he has managed to awaken to stand up and demand for their freedom.

“It is not me who is untouchable; it is freedom and justice that are untouchable,” said Bobi Wine during an interview with NTV this morning.

Bobi said its President Museveni who fits to be described as an irresponsible leader since he who orders the mass murder of unarmed citizens who are merely rising up to demand equality in their country.

Bobi Wine disagreed with the numbers of people that Museveni present to have died (54) during the recent riots.

“I disagree with the numbers that President Museveni presented and you can’t blame me, he lied about the numbers of those killed in the Kasese massacre and other areas. We know that more than 200 people were murdered,” he said.

On government pledging to compensate those who lost their lives and properties during the two-day riots, he said; “We the people of Uganda don’t want our children murdered and then compensated, we want our lives intact. Just follow the law.”

The NUP President also explained that it’s not that he does not care about the lives of Ugandans that crowd around him during campaigns given the existence of COVID-19, he said they do so because they love listening to his message of change no matter the risk.
