The Minister for Labour, Gender and Social Development Hon. Frank Tumwebaze has justified President Museveni’s 35 year reign.

Appearing on NBS Television this morning Tumwebaze said that he is tired of hearing Ugandans saying they want change because Museveni has been in power for many years.

According to Hon. Tumwebaze, it’s been 35 years of Museveni rebuilding Uganda.

“It is not enough for you to say you are tired of 35 years of Museveni. 35 years of doing what? It has been 35 years of reconstructing Uganda’s economy,” Frank Tumwebaze said.

He also laughed at people who say that Museveni and NRM party are scared of Bobi Wine saying the NUP President ha only affected FDC and other opposition parties but not NRM.

Tumwebaze added that NRM is still the strongest political party in Uganda and their wining the next elections.

“Kyagulanyi is a wave, and waves don’t last. He has affected FDC, but NRM is intact even in Buganda, where he has some supporters. We are the biggest mass party (NRM). Do you think this will one day disappear in thin air,” Frank Tumwebaze said.
