Youthful presidential candidate John Katumba has disclosed he’s not ready to pay attention to those trying to divert him from his mission to take up the country’s top office.

Katumba says majority Ugandans have a mentality that it’s impossible to oust incumbent in an election but here he is to disprove them.

“Katumba is here to tell everyone that everything is possible. Let them do the talking, Katumba is serious. The mere fact that I collected signatures, paid Shs20 million and traversed all these areas, what more do they need to know that I am serious?” says Katumba.

Katumba explains that he’s not in the race to solve his problems but rather in the contest to save Uganda.

“Uganda needs me now. I am the solution,” says Katumba as he urges the youth to actively involve themselves in shaping the future of Uganda.

“Nothing will change if you don’t take a step,” he says.

The 24-year-old insists that he has no hopes of losing the race and he’s ready invite all the presidential candidates on the table so that they can guide him on how Uganda moves on from one level to another.

Katumba was today on Monday expected to be in Napak but he says the Electoral Commission called him back to make adjustments in his campaigning schedule.
