Mayinja volunteered to record us a song– Lumumba

Ronald Mayinja recently released a campaign song praising the incumbent and after he claimed that since his business is music he was paid by the ruling party to record them the song.

However, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Secretary General Hon. Justine Kasule Lumumba, has refuted allegations that NRM paid Mayinja to record them a campaigning song.

Lumumba said that Mayinja’s love for the ruling party (NRM) and Museveni is the reason why he gifted the party with a beautiful song.

According to Lumumba, the singer was not paid any coin to record the song for NRM, he voluntarily recorded it.

“I have heard people saying that we paid Ronald Mayinja a lot of money to record us a campaigning a song. We didn’t pay Mayinja any money to record us a campaign song, it was just a gift from him to his lovely President Museveni and NRM party,” Hon. Justine Kasule Lumumba said.

Lumumba also praised Mayinja’s song saying it is a nice song liked by NRM party members and singer will be performing during the NRM Manifesto launch.

“The party members have liked the song and we have liked his song and we have already invited him to come in Munyonyo and perform as we launch our 2021 manifesto,” said Lumumba
