Following the heavily contested National Resistance Movement (NRM) party primaries that saw quite a number of popular names lose the elections, State Minister for Investment Hon. Evelyne Anite who was defeated by Dr. Charles Ayume in the NRM Koboko Municipality primaries has moved past the social media mockery and urged fellow comrades that lost to put aside their personal disappointments and support their chairman.

“I want to reassure all the NRM comrades that stood for elections as candidates that I stand shoulder to shoulder with you as some commiserate whilst others celebrate. We must not lose focus of the primary goal we set out to achieve, “said Anite

Felllow Country men and women, I bring you warm greetings from a not so sunny but beautiful Koboko today. I want to reassure all the @NRMOnline comrades that stood for election as candidates that I stand shoulder to shoulder with you
as some commiserate whilst others celebrate.

Anite added that the NRM is a missioned led party that espouses stability, peace, reconciliation and vision and elections must not divide them because a house divided is bound to fall.

We therefore need to put aside our personal disappointments especially those, like me that feel were unfairly edged out. In NRM family, there are no vanquished; we are all victors. We must therefore stand together
and support our Chairman H.E @KagutaMuseveni and our Party.

We need a strong NRM Parliament to deliver on our Manifesto. We need to create dignified jobs 4 millions of young pple & bring about meaningful social econ transformation 4 the majority of Ugandans. We can’t leave anyone
