Following Hon Evelyne Anite’s defeat in the heavily contested ruling party National Resistance Movement (NRM) primaries for Koboko Municipality, social media has been flooded with posts of jubilations and mockery dedicated to the State Minister for Investment.

While appearing on Spirit Fm, Koboko Charles Ayume, the newly elected NRM Koboko flag bearer urged all his supporters and well-wishers to be gracious in victory.

Earlier this evening, I was hosted on Spirit FM Koboko at which I urged my supporters & well-wishers to be gracious in victory. Hon. Anite is still the sitting MP & a cabinet minister. Let us treat her with the respect of her office. I also urged Koboko people to unite for devt.
