The chairman of the ruling party President Yoweri Museveni is expected to visit the National Resistance Movement headquarters at Kyadondo Road today on Tuesday July 28 to be officially nominated as the official party Presidential flag bearer in the coming general elections.

Museveni is to present himself before the party Electoral Commission (EC) at 11am, and is expected to appear with three seconders and one nominee. However the public has been limited to access the venue to observe the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Last week incumbent Museveni was declared sole presidential candidate and chairman of the ruling NRM party by the party Electoral Commission boss Dr Tanga Odoi. Odoi said no other candidate expressed interest to challenge Museveni.
