Kampala Central Member of Parliament has blasted Bobi Wine supporters for throwing insults to socialite Zari Hassan. In one of her recent live streams, Zari decided to talk politics where she said though Uganda needs change; Bobi Wine is not the perfect person to take up the country’s top office.

Zari asked for credentials that make Bobi Wine the perfect candidate to succeed Museveni. This prompted People Power supporters to attack Zari as they threw all kinds of insults.

With such public backlash, Nsereko came out to defend Zari saying People Power supporters can do better than insulting Zari.

“Freedom of speech is a right. You cannot insult Zari Hassan for speaking out her mind and then you rise up to say you’re fighting for human rights. All those insulting her are enemies of democracy and political cowards. You can urge your case without insulting Zari,” Nsereko said.

However, the youth group again counter reacted to Nsereko’s advice accusing him of always trying to frustrate People Power activities.
