Two of the confirmed cases are truck drivers from Kenya who entered via Malaba entry point. The other two were also got at the Elegu point of entry, one a turn-boy and the other a clearing agent.

Four of the remaining new cases are alerts and contacts of the already confirmed cases. Additionally, 16 foreign truck drivers who tested positive were returned to their respective countries for treatment.

The good news, however, is that the total number of recoveries has continued to rise as the number now stands at 409.
