Jinja Hospital discharges 13 COVID-19 patients, 34 more set to be discharged from Entebbe, Gulu Hospitals

Jinja Referral Hospital has today discharged 13 patients after they recovered from COVID-19. The 13 individuals tested negative for COVID-19 twice meaning they had successfully battled and won the virus.

Emmanuel Ainebyoona, the Ministry of Health Spokesperson has also revealed that 12 more truck drivers have fully recovered from the deadly virus and will be discharged from Entebbe Regional Referral Hospital.

Yesterday while overseeing the discharge of 41 patients from Arua and Gulu Referral Hospitals, Minister of State for Primary Health Care Dr Joyce Moriku Kaducu said Gulu Hospital had remained with 31 active cases but 22 of them were set to be discharged as they had tested negative on the first test and only their second sample test results were pending.
