According to Ssuubi’s  neighbours, their land lord is a drunkard and has a tendency of collecting rent from the tenants and forgets afterwards, hence returning to ask the month that was cleared.

The Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Masaka Herman Ssentongo has confirmed the arrest of the landlord who is an officer in the reserve force. Ssentongo asked landlords to adhere to the Presidential request of giving tenants time to clear their rent arrears since majority have not been working.
