Masaka Kids match Eddy Kenzo’s YouTube record, crowned Gold creator Award

Ugandan dance group, Masaka Kids Africana has become the second Ugandan YouTube stars to scoop the YouTube Gold Creator Award. This is after the dancing youngsters managed to register 1 million subscribers on their YouTube channel.

They become the second group to win this award from Uganda after Eddy Kenzo won it a few weeks back. The jubilant Masaka Kids Africana through their socials have applauded their fans for attaining this great achievement.

Kenzo congratulated the Masaka Kids Africana before calling upon all Ugandans to do it quickly for comedian Anne Kansiime who is also about to hit the one million milestone.

The CEO, YouTube, Susan Wojcicki also applauded the Masaka kids for their immense talent to influence the world with their story.

“We know that being able to touch the lives of many people is a reward enough. But we are incredibly proud of all you’ve done, so we hope you’ll accept this Gold Creator Award as a token of our esteem,” reads part of Suzan’s appreciation letter.
