When President Museveni suspended mass gatherings nearly a month ago to curb the spread of coronavirus in the country, ‘hexagonal weddings’, the ones where the number of attendees makes you think there is a world cup final taking place were put to a stop, and replaced with the ‘Scientific weddings’ where only the essential people were allowed to attend.

Yesterday, Archbishop Stephen Kaziimba’s son Enock Musasizi Kaziimba tied the knot with his fiancée Josephine Babirye in a scientific wedding at Namirembe Cathedral officiated by the Bishop of Namirembe Diocese Rt. Rev. Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira.

“My Son, Enock Musasizi and his fiancée Josephine Babirye wedded today at St. Paul’s Cathedral Namirembe. My brother Bishop Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira was the main celebrant and as per Ministry of Health guidelines against COVID-19, we observed social distancing at every point,” Archbishop Rev. Dr Stephen Kaziimba  Mugalu said in a tweet yesterday.
