Uganda’s leading premium beverage company, Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL), has opened a shop on SafeBoda’s new feature, ‘Food & Shop’, to enable its customers access their favorite drinks more conveniently at no delivery fees.

The UBL shop according to Annette Nakiyaga, the UBL Head of Luxury Portfolio, comes at a time when government has put more restrictions on movements with bodas working until 2:00 p.m.; in a bid to ensure that Ugandans continue to stay safe.

“We know that our customers want to continue having a good time and enjoy great experiences with their loved ones despite the lockdown. The UBL shop on the SafeBoda app is intended to help people conveniently make orders for delivery in the comfort of their homes,” she said.

To order for deliveries, customers should simply go to the ‘Food & Shop’ option on the SafeBoda app and type ‘UBL shop’ under the search space, then follow prompts.

UBL also recently released a toll free line for Ugandans to order their favorite beers, spirits and whiskies for home delivery. These are available for Ugandans in Kampala, the wider central, eastern, western, northern, western and southern regions.

Ugandans in Kampala and the Central region should call 0800280290, those in Northern and Eastern Uganda should call 0800277001 and those in Western and Southern Uganda should call 0800277000.
