Cindy: “I wanted to have the entire Blue*3 on stage at my concert, but I am only rehearsing with Lillian Mbabazi, I have failed to get Jackie”

Who wouldn’t love to see the once most popular female group in East Africa, the Blue*3 performing together again massive hits like Kakaana, Where you are, Nzijukira, Hitaji, Akayimba kali and Ndayira Ndiba wuwo among others?

While addressing a press conference ahead of her first-ever Boom Party Concert slated for this Saturday, March 7 at Lugogo Cricket Oval, one of the original members of the Blue*3, The King Herself Cindy Sanyu revealed how she has been making efforts to get the group back on stage for her concert.

“I am doing boom party rehearsals with Lillian Mbabazi. Lillian and I would like Jackie Chandiru to perform with us at the boom party concert but unfortunately, I can’t reach out to her (Jackie),” said Cindy.

Nevertheless, Cindy said that though there are a few days left to the concert, it is okay for Jackie to come through anytime and they perform together.

Cindy’s Tusker Malt-sponsored event will make her go down in the history books in Uganda as the first female artiste to hold a show at the vast Lugogo Cricket Oval.
