Lutwama, Busingye off to Dubai for the Omega Desert Dubai Classic

Winners of the 2019 Singleton Match Play Champion Richard Lutwama and Robert Busingye will be billing on their win as the pair is set to be flying out to Dubai to watch the Omega Desert Dubai Classic that will be taking place this weekend.

The pair that beat Andrew Atuhaire and Geofrey Orach in a highly contested final flew out yesterday, Wednesday 22nd for Dubai.

Lutwama and Busingye beat Andrew Atuhaire and Geofrey Orach in a sudden death playoff hole after they were all square in a highly contested final. The match was neck to neck from the first hole to the last until Lutwama changed the game with his first whole par that saw the pair win the Match Play Championship.

Speaking to the media during the send-off Ceremony, the pair made it known that they will be ready for action to defend their title as soon as they are back.

“I have had often that this Tittle is usually won by air at a time but other golfers should be rest assured that we will be back to defend our Title,” said Lutwama.

UBL’s Head of Luxury Portfolio, Annette Nakiyaga expressed her gratitude towards the winners promising a more competitive series this year.

“This here is the best part of the entire series, a pivotal moment where we get to enjoy the fruits of the hard work and commitment that we put in throughout the entire season, all I will say is go out there and enjoy yourself like the Singleton, this trip will be one where you get to craft lasting and unforgettable memories, but while you are doing that don’t forget we are ready for an even more exciting challenge this season,” said Nakiyaga.

The pair will get to have a Dubai Desert classic experience with a whole itinerary planned out for their stay.
