As we are bidding farewell to ‘Janworry’, some of Uganda’s top celebrities are up for the Valentine’s Day challenge fete. It being one of the country’s most celebrated days, the unofficial lovers’ day will this year attract major events.

Following Rema’s announcement that her show dubbed ‘Rema Live in concert’ will be held at Hotel Africa, Maro will hold his ‘Anjagala concert’ at Mestil Hotel, one of Nigeria’s finest RudeBoy will be at Lugogo Cricket Oval while celebrated Comedian Salvado who is bringing Kenyan group Sauti Sol plus a few other commedians is challenging himself and going for a bigger venue, Kololo Airstrip. Given the fact that the four events target different age groups and different audiences, we can ascertain that Rema’s show might be one of the most attended events on that day since she has quite a handful of love songs that the lovers reminisce to.

From her maiden hit song Oliwange to Juice wa mango, Kukaliba, Tikula, fans’ favourite Gutujja to her latest single Clear, Rema sings for the lovers.
