Senior Presidential Press Secretary Don Wanyama has punched holes in Bobi Wine’s recent achievement of being named on the Times 100 most influential persons.
Wanyama who was appearing on NBS TV this morning said that although Bobi Wine deserves applaud for making it to the list, the public should understand that it is not politics that led him to the achievement.
“It was because of his music and not political commentary,” said Don Wanyama before dusting it off saying foreign awards don’t mean much.
Wanyama warned Bobi Wine to be mindful of some of the foreign forces surrounding him and how they want to use him. He said the latest achievement should not over excite him because Museveni still holds bigger achievements than him.
“For President Museveni, there’s no bigger award than being elected every 5 years,” Wanyama said.
He stated that the legislator isn’t up to the task though he is a prominent example to Ugandans of the regime that has been able to turn around lives of Ugandans.
“Bobi Wine is the reflection of what is right in the government. He has risen out of the ghetto to even dream about becoming a President and challenge the current President,” he said.
