This week on Thursday, November 14, the long awaited and much anticipated introduction ceremony of Rema Namakula and her fiancé Dr Hamza Sebunya will be held at her parents’ home in Nabingo.

A lot of people have made this introduction ceremony the central point of discussion in their life in the past months where some have even debated on how long Rema’s marriage to Sebunya will last.

This does not rest well with veteran entertainer Halimah Namakula, Rema’s guardian and she has come out to defend her daughter and tell off all those that are criticizing Rema for her choices.

“You need to leave Rema alone. She has made a choice. She chose him (Sebunya) out of not two, or three, but very many. It is now time for all of you to believe,” Namakula said.

Namakula also added that people should stop speculating what Sebunya is or what he isn’t, because none of them truly know him.

She also noted how people are counting how much time Rema will spend in the marriage, and said that people should focus on themselves.

“If she spends two years, that will b okay, because two years in a marriage is quite a long time. We cannot count how many years someone will spend in a marriage. Instead of counting how many years someone will spend in marriage, why don’t you count yours?,” Namakula wondered.

She added that she has prepared Rema well, she is well-behaved, she can cook and she is ready to get married for good.
