A 16-year-old girl (name withheld) has given birth while sitting for her Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) at Lufudu Primary School in Namayingo District.
The girl who first complained of pain to her teachers was accorded help when female teachers around realised that she was experiencing labour pain. They helped her push and she delivered a bouncing baby boy.
“She started complaining of pain and teachers became suspicious. However, some female teachers helped her to push and she delivered a baby boy before returning to sit for the Social Studies paper in the afternoon,” Mr Kawere said.
