Uganda Cranes Head Coach Johnny McKinstry has this morning at FUFA House Mengo named his 25-man squad for the AFCON 2021 Group B double encounters against Burkina Faso and Malawi.

In the named squad, there were no alarming omissions as most of the renowned squad-makers made it to the list. However, Alexis Bbakka who trades in Carlstad United BK, Sweden, on form Fahad Bayo of Vipers Sports Club and KCCA FC duo Nicholas Kasozi and Allan Okello are the only not common faces on the senior national team who now have to use the chance to impress.

Before naming the squad, FUFA named McKinstry’s backroom interim staff and these included Abdallah Mubiru, a man who guided Cranes CHAN team to the next year’s finals in Cameroon.
