State Minister for Information and Communications Technology, Idah Nantaba has revealed that her woes that even forced her to go out of the country to get some relief are as a result of crossing the red light of some of the high ranked generals in the Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF).
Nantaba revealed that Uganda has untouchable ‘generals’ who are answerable to no one. She further confirmed that she knows some of the suspects that want to kill her and has mentioned them to President Museveni.
According to Nantaba, murderers in Uganda are in high positions and they are able to choose who to execute their dirt. She said they are very close to president.
“They stay with him. I’ve told the President before that he is a prisoner; bad people bring him information, yet the good information is blocked from reaching him,” she said while appearing on NBS TV Morning Breeze Show.
She urged the President to use the iron hand if he is to stop the unending murders.
“He needs to clean the Police. Have the courtesy to touch the untouchables. The country is suffering but some people can’t be brought to order. Every time you cross their line, you are looking for bloodshed,” she said.
However, Nantaba vowed not to give up on the fight of transparently serving Ugandans.
“Some people choose to be silent and be part of the rot,” Nantaba stated revealing that she will never be one of them.
