Over the weekend, guests who attended the fifth edition of the East African Meat Carnival were left fully satisfied by Chef Kaheru’s meaty treats inspired and cooked with delicious East African recipes.
The fresh twist to the September edition was that Chef Kaheru and his troopers were cooking up a mouth-watering storm with chicken straight from the popular food spot, Namawojjolo and goat meat from Lukaya.
The aroma for starters was pulling guests in large numbers to the serving point where the servings were in plenty as food inspired from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda powerfully took over the breathing atmosphere.
However, guests at The Gardens in Najjera turned out to be big fans of the ‘Mutura,’ a Rwandan delicacy and the ‘Pig Ears’ that ran out before sundown as revealed by Kaheru. These were washed down with a cold Tusker Lite beer.
The order of the delightful evening was munching and drinking and we can tell the Najjera chill spot has now become a favourite for revelers looking for a good time with friends and family.
“When people come out to The Gardens, they get a chance to relax and enjoy themselves with great Utake music and try out different foods and drinks. It is always a delightful and cheery experience,” said Kelvin Gumisiriza, Tusker Lite Brand Rep.
