When couples break up, the most common reactions are shock, anger and jealousy. They get even more amplified when you discover that your ex has moved on so fast with another person. Surprisingly, Eddy Kenzo’s reaction to Rema’s engagement news is quite the opposite.
In his long and ‘sweet’ Facebook post directed to Rema, Kenzo has acknowledged his ex-lover’s new engagement to her fiancé Dr Hamzah Sebunya.
“I congratulate you Mr Sebunya,” Kenzo said in one section of the post before continuing to say that he has been with Rema for the past five years but the never-ending challenges that came their way finally made the relationship fail.
“I pushed her to be a better person, wrote for her big hits and participated in the production of hits that will stay forever. I’m not perfect but I have tried my best,” Kenzo said.
The ‘Bikyuka’ singer advised Sebunya to pick up from where he has managed to push Rema by supporting her music career as he said: “that will be the best feeling for her ever.”
“Love Rema because you are the man of her dreams and the reason why she made this big decision, she is living her dreams,” Kenzo urged Rema’s new keeper Sebunya.
Kenzo’s statement comes days after news of Rema’s planned introduction ceremony happening on November 1, 2019 broke out over the weekend. The two now former lovers have a child together, Aamal Musuuza.
