Uganda is a country full of festivals. The fetes have become a classy way of celebrating life achievements.

The new addition to the list of festivals in Uganda is the first ever Wines, Cocktails and Whisky Festival slated to take place on Sunday September 1, 2019 at Sheraton Kampala Hotel gardens.

I’ll gladly take that.

The festival themed “A Toast To Greatness” will have a variety of activities which include wine and whiskey tasting, auction sessions, classic music, wine and whiskey connoisseur sessions.

When the invitation to the festival comes in.

“As Evolve Uganda, we decided to partner with a high-end hotels like Sheraton Hotel to bring an annual festival to wine and whisky enthusiasts to taste different wines, whiskeys, cocktails coupled with their classic music and favourite food,” said Martin Mukama, the event organiser.

Unlike other festivals, this is an invite only event, but it is simple to get yourself one. All you need to do is buy four cocktails at Sheraton Hotel Equator bar or purchase a bottle of your preferred wine or whiskey from Jumia using the Jumia food app.

The event is proudly sponsored by Matooke Republic, Jumia Food, Jumia Party, Jumia Travel, Radiocity, Sheraton Kampala Hotel, Arrow Fusion and Evolve Uganda.
